Contest rules

The contest task involves designing and creating a prototype of packaging, labels, or a coherent graphic concept of packaging for a product line. The basis is an innovative and surprising idea that can be introduced into production.

Competition schedule:

31 January - 31 May: applications submission

• filling out the application form
• formal assessment of applications

31 May - 30 June: voting of Jury

• a jury of experts will evaluate the projects
• selection of 12 best projects: 4 in each category

3 July: results of 1st stage of the contest

• invitation of 12 authors of the best projects to participate in the second stage of the competition
• confirmation of participation in the second stage of the contest by students

8-9 October: 2nd stage of the contest during Packaging Innovations Forum

• presentation of the project to the Jury and event participants in a special exhibition zone
• contest results October 9

1. The competition is open to adults up to 30 who have full legal capacity and are not professionally associated with companies dealing with packaging design or packaging production. Competition participants must have student status.
2. The basis is an innovative and surprising idea that can be produced.
3. Works can be submitted in 3 categories (1 work can be submitted in only 1 category) until the 31 of May 2025.
