We are happy to announce that during the 16th edition of Packaging Innovations International Packaging Trade Fair, which will take place on the 09-10th of October 2024 at EXPO Kraków, we will celebrate two unique anniversaries of our partners.

The first is the 30th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Packaging, an institution that has been supporting the development of the packaging industry in Poland for years, and the second is the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts—Jan Matejko in Krakow, which is our honorary partner.

Exhibitions will also be presented (including the anniversary exhibition of the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow) reflecting the need and requirements of circular design. The latter will be devoted to Dr. Hab. Renata Dobrucka's lecture. UEP (Stanford's Top 2% Scientists) - presentation of the Polish premiere of the World Packaging Organization's guide on circular packaging, "Designing packaging for recycling", developed by her and the Polish Chamber of Packaging. The conference will also include a presentation on mechanisms for protecting industrial designs through registration at the relevant patent offices in Poland (UP RP) and Europe (EUIPO), supported by selected examples of disputes regarding packaging design.
